“ We went here for the first time tonight for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Absolutely our new go to hibachi spot. The food was way fresher than others we have been to and not overly soaked in oil. They have better prices for much better food!! We didnt try and sushi this time, but will eventually! The food doesnt leave that overly heavy feeling as quickly as the others that use all that oil either. Sure, the service could use some attention...but, the food was phenomenal and fresh. “ It was our first time here for my daughters birthday and everything was great! Kudos to the manager for serving us. We ordered the hot Green Tea, miso soup, Avocado and crab eggrolls, Crunchy Fried Rolls, Philly Rolls, regular fried rice, and Fried Ice Cream. We enjoyed everything and left happily. Looking forward to visiting again. ”

“ Went here for my friends birthday dinner with her friends on 72724 and had the fried thick noodles with steak, shrimp and chicken yakisoba noodles combo and wow it was so delicious! Everything was perfectly seared with great flavor, good portion size, and consistently good service from our server. Also, they brought the birthday girl a little bowl of vanilla ice cream with a candle and did a funny birthday chant while one of the servers beat a little drum. 1010 would eat here again and excited to try their sushi next time! ”

“ Well, lets try this the second time I think I added too many pictures and videos and it got stuck in my phone and when I had to shut the phone off I lost the review!!!! Anyway, my daughter had decided to have a small gathering in memory of her son who passed away December 2022, and whose birthday was St. Patricks Day. She made reservations and determined that a Teppanyaki table accommodated 10 people. It ended up being perfect for our group. I have been here many times as its an absolute alltime favorite of all of our grandchildren so we celebrated many birthdays through the years ,here . The hubster is not fond of it as he feels like its expensive, but he does not take him into consideration that youre getting a show with your meal !! Part of it is that he doesnt eat rice and hes not fond of the Teppanyaki style cooking!!! Now for the positive there is another menu available and it offers sushi that is good quality so thats what he orders when we go there. My daughters 86yearold motherinlaw also ordered off the menu and had a appetizer of coconut shrimp with a green salad and their delicious ginger dressing and she was very satisfied with her meal.. That left eight of us that decided to have Teppanyaki, and once the staff took our protein orders ranging from lobster to steak, shrimp and chickenwe all were excited as our our talented chef arrived at the griddle . During the initial part of the show, when theres lots of fire out server was delivering bowls of hot broth and iceberg lettuce salad with that delicious ginger dressing they make !!! Those come along with all Teppanyaki meals. I cant even tell you how many bowls of fried rice he would eat! All of our meals were good and proteins were prepared and we received exactly what we ordered. Stack of griddled vegetables was also cooked along with a huge mountain of fried rice. Complete with all the yummy things that go in it, especially eggs. We enjoyed the show. We all had great memories to share. If you do have a birthday in your party, there is a special celebration where some of the staff come over with Japanese drums and sing, happy birthday and present you with a complementary dessert. I had visited with our chef a little bit and determined that he had three years of training before he was able to come out in front of a griddle that contained paying guests . We all had a good time, the food was good if a little pricey, and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. Try it for a special occasion we think youll enjoy it.!!! ”

“ Very entertaining, service was great, we arrived right at a busy time and it was probably busier than normal because it was prom night so there were several tables of older teens. Wait was not long, under 30 minutes. You get seated at a 10 person table if you want a hibachi table spot, but also have the option of smaller individual tables if you dont want to do the whole hibachi production. Action starts with large flames and an impressive show of utensil handling skills. Be prepared to interact with the chef during food preparation as they will toss a small ball of rice at you to catch with your mouth, often times missing and causing rice to go flying as part of the act. Pro tip stay still and open wide and they can usually land the shot, but most people flinch or try and catch it by moving and it ends up hitting them in the face. Everyone has a good laugh. Food was very good and the portions were large enough to satisfy. Adult beverages were reasonably priced and better than most other mid level restaurants. Overall good time, fun experience especially for a large party or family celebration. Great for a date night ”

“ This place was great! We love going to a hibachi grill for the full experience. We had a party of 8 and we all had a great time. The food was delicious. My favorite is the steak and scallops. The miso is great and the salad is ok. The chef or cook was entertaining and made us all laugh. The place was nice and clean and the service was great. Overall we give a thumbs up to Tokyo Steak House! ”
